This week we’re talking about adjectives and adverbs connected with speed: quick, quickly and fast.

Adjectives are used to describe nouns and adverbs tell us about verbs, adjectives and even other adverbs.

Some adverbs can be made by adding ’ly’ to the end of the adjective, but that’s not always the case as we see the word ’fast’.
